2006 Cosworth Caterham Masters
Caterham’s most powerful track challenger, the CSR 260, will once again enjoy its own endurance race series in 2006 with one/two-driver events at some of the most charismatic circuits in the world. Title sponsorship for the series comes from Cosworth.
The 260bhp Caterham CSR 260 has been race bred to provide the ultimate motorsport experience; this season the race series will be run at the same six meetings as the successful Autosport Caterham Eurocup.
Each meeting features two one-hour races. Pit stops are mandatory, with a minimum pit visiting time to swap drivers and ensure that safety procedures are followed. No refuelling is allowed during the races. It’s the only Caterham series to permit the use of slicks, Avon having created a racing tyre specially.
